ToolGuyd reports that Bosch’s GLM100-23 laser distance measuring tool is on sale for $37.79 for Prime Day, below the roughly $40 promotional price its writer says is typical. The report lists the offer as ending Oct. 7, 2026, but does not provide a retailer link or confirm whether the price remains available.

Bosch’s GLM100-23 laser distance measuring tool is listed at $37.79 for Prime Day, according to ToolGuyd, which describes the price as lower than the roughly $40 promotional price its writer typically sees. The offer is listed as ending Oct. 7, 2026; the report does not establish whether it remains available or whether the price applies to every shopper.

The GLM100-23 is a basic laser measure for taking point-to-point distance readings when a tape measure is difficult to extend or use. Bosch lists a 100-foot range and accuracy of ±1/16 inch in the source report. It runs on two AAA batteries, rather than a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

ToolGuyd’s writer said they bought the tool for about $40 in November 2023 after Bosch could not provide a sample in time for the original review. The writer characterized $40 as a typical seasonal promotional price and said they could not recall seeing the GLM100-23 at a lower price. Those are the writer’s price-history observations, not an independently verified record of all past prices.

The report also lists the Bosch GLM165-22 at $78.84 during the same sale. ToolGuyd presents that model as an option for buyers looking for more features, but does not detail its functions in the provided report. Both Bosch offers are said to end Oct. 7, making the timing relevant for anyone considering a purchase.

A Lower Price on a Basic Laser Measure

At $37.79, the GLM100-23 costs less than the roughly $40 sale price ToolGuyd says is common for the model. For readers who need quick measurements across a room or in a spot where a tape measure is awkward, the lower listed price may make a simple laser tool more accessible. The report does not establish how much a buyer would save against the regular retail price, because it does not give that price.

The tool’s appeal is its limited, straightforward feature set: it measures distance without the calculations or added functions found on more advanced models. That can suit occasional household projects as well as users who want a basic measuring device. The practical choice still depends on a buyer’s needs, and the reported specifications should be checked against the product listing before ordering.

How the Writer Rates the GLM100-23

ToolGuyd’s report is a deal recommendation based partly on its writer’s own use of the GLM100-23. The writer says the tool has been reliable for both casual and more demanding users who do not need extra calculation features, and says they would recommend buying it at the current listed price. These are personal assessments rather than independent test results supplied with the deal notice.

The report contrasts Bosch with cheaper alternatives from other brands, including a discounted Hoto laser measure. It describes the Hoto as a possible DIY option but questions whether it is positioned as a serious tool or more as a household gift. ToolGuyd says its writer trusts Bosch based on experience with the company’s laser measures. The report also discloses that ToolGuyd may earn an affiliate commission when readers buy through its links.

““$40 is a great price, $37.79 is a little bit better.””

Price and Stock May Change

The source lists Oct. 7, 2026 as the end date for both Bosch deals, but it does not confirm the time the offers expire, current inventory, shipping costs, or whether eligibility restrictions apply. Prices and availability can change, so the $37.79 figure should be treated as the price reported by ToolGuyd, not a guarantee at checkout.

The report also does not provide a full comparison of the GLM100-23 with competing models or explain which additional functions the GLM165-22 offers. ToolGuyd’s judgment that the GLM100-23 is reliable and unusually inexpensive is the writer’s view; no independent price-history data or product testing results are included in the supplied material.

Check the Listing Before Oct. 7

Readers interested in the deal can check the retailer listing linked from ToolGuyd and confirm the price, stock and delivery terms before purchasing. The report says the offer ends Oct. 7, 2026, but availability may change before that date. ToolGuyd also notes that the GLM165-22 is listed at $78.84 for the same sale period.

After the stated end date, the source expects the GLM100-23 may return to its usual promotional pattern, but does not report a confirmed future price or sale date. Any later discount would need to be checked when it is announced.
